Terms of Service
1. Who we are
"Zaid's PlayZone" (this site) is a personal, ad-free, free-to-play browser games project. "We", "us", and "our" refer to the site operator. "You" refers to anyone who loads the site.
2. Eligibility & parental consent
The site is designed to be safe for all ages. Playing without signing in is open to everyone. If you're under 13 and want to use features that require sign-in (cloud save, friend list), ask a parent or guardian first — they are the account holder for legal purposes.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to:
- Play fairly. No cheating, score manipulation, automated tools (bots), or reverse-engineering multiplayer servers.
- Be kind. Safe-chat presets only — no bullying, harassment, hate speech, or sharing personal info in nicknames.
- Not try to break, probe, overload, or gain unauthorized access to any part of the site.
- Not scrape the catalog or resell access to the games.
- Not use the site to do anything illegal in your jurisdiction.
4. Accounts & saves
If you sign in, you are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. We may suspend or reset accounts that break these Terms (e.g., repeated cheating). Local (device) saves are your own; cloud saves live in Firebase and we may wipe them if an account is closed.
5. Multiplayer & chat
Multiplayer lobbies and chat use a fixed list of safe, pre-set phrases. Free-form text is intentionally disabled. If you see another player trying to bypass the filter or behaving badly, use the block/report buttons in the lobby UI.
6. Virtual items & scores
All in-game items, coins, badges, and scores have no real-world monetary value and cannot be bought, sold, or traded for cash. They exist only to make games fun. We may reset leaderboards at any time to remove confirmed cheating.
7. Intellectual property
Original game code, art, and scenarios are © the site operator. You may link to the site freely. You may not copy the full catalog, redistribute binary assets as your own, or impersonate the brand. Trademarks of third parties (e.g., Firebase, Google) belong to their respective owners.
8. User-generated content
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or nicknames, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them to operate and improve the site. Keep it kid-friendly.
9. Availability
The site is provided "as is". We don't guarantee 100% uptime, specific frame rates, or that every browser will support every 3D feature. The progressive web app works offline for games already loaded, but cloud features need a connection.
10. Warranty disclaimer
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site is provided without any warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Games involve 3D graphics and flashing imagery; if you have photosensitive epilepsy or motion sensitivity, please use the "Reduce motion" setting in the in-game menu.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed USD $20 or the amount you paid us (whichever is greater — and since the site is free, that's usually $20).
12. Changes to the site or these terms
We may add, change, or remove games and features at any time, including offline. If we change these Terms in a meaningful way, we'll update the "Last updated" date and, for signed-in users, show a banner when you next open the site.
13. Termination
You can stop using the site at any time. We may suspend access for people who break these Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the site operator resides. Disputes go to the local courts of that jurisdiction, unless a consumer-protection law where you live requires otherwise.
